Maryland kept their program-record home court winning streak alive with the school’s 45th straight win in College Park with a 76-44 victory over Stony Brook in the first of three games in the Terrapin Classic. Sophomore Lynetta Kizer helped lead the Terrapins with her 12th career and second consecutive double-double.
An extremely productive first half gave the Terrapins a comfortable 20-point lead. In the first 20 minutes two players, Kizer and Diandra Tchatchouang, scored in double-digits, 28 points were scored inside the paint and SBU was forced into 14 turnovers. (from umterps.com)
