Well, finally it is here. NOW the games really count. The Terrapins are 8-4 (win over Chaminade does not count) and probably need to win 10 games to insure a NCAA bid. This task is mighty but definitely doable. Home COURT must be protected. Therefore tonight’s game is crucial. Parity might be reigning supreme in the conference as both Duke and NC lost this past week. Keys to victory tonight:
—Greivis, Greivis must play as he has played the past 4 games. He is the leader –no question.
–The Terrapins need to pressure FSU and create turnovers taking the Seminoles out of their dominating inside efforts.
–Dino, Jordan, Landon, and Padgett must hold their own in rebounding. This means boxing out and clawing and fighting for every bound.
–Perimeter defense must continue to improve. The Terps need to get the ball inside and challenge the bigs.
–There is no room for a slow start tonight.
—Eric Hayes needs to nail at least 2 threes and points must come from the Baltimore phenom – Sean Mosley.
Obviously I can’t wait for tonight!!! Listen in to the post game show with Jeremy Conn–I will be checking in from the Comcast Center.
