There are not many better guys then Head coach Ralph Friedgen. I always espoused that after all he did to help turnaround Maryland football, he certainly deserved another opportunity to right the 2-10 ship that happened last year. At the ACC Opening Press Conference, Ralph refused to dwell on the past or his future. Just remember this –watch how quickly the tide will turn if the Terps “upset” Navy!!

the reality is ralph will coach this year and next and be out or he’l be fired after this season and get paid for his last yr of his contract. unless the terps win at least 8 games this yr and next ralph is done at the end of his contract. a losing season this yr and he’s out. no one has more passion about md than ralph. no one cares more about md than ralph. but charlie taffee and gary blackney were the key guys when ralph took over and when they left the program took a big drop and never recovered.
