Highlights of a blowout win for the Terps:
Let’s see–who says Maryland football is dead–45ooo in Baltimore for Navy and 40000 in College Park for Morgan.
Danny O’Brien was sharp as QB w 3 TD passes. His 1st to Matt Furstenburg was a thing of beauty.
Danny turned his ankle but early reports say he should be OK for the Mountaineers.
Jamarr was productive leading 2 TD drives and his passing was much improved.
Moten, Hartsfield, and Wujciak were impenetrable today.
The HoKies humiliating loss to JMU might have had something to do with Ralph running up the score.
The Terps are 2-0–last year they finished 2-10
Davin Meggett was sharp running for 40 yards on an early drive.
Tony Logan (Pictured) had 128 punt return yards. Stats mean very little in this game because of Maryland’s total domination.
Torrey Smith had 2 TD receptions 1 each from Jamarr and O’Brien.
Ralph was ecstatic after the game “We’re better than last year, no question about that,” Friedgen said. “We’re starting to gain some confidence right now and have the focus to do that. It was a worry of mine that we’d go out there and just lay the ball on the ground and abandon our techniques. We didn’t do that.”
Early in the 2nd quarter on one play Maryland’s entire offensive line was offside.
Special teams for Maryland were plaqued with too many penalties.
Byrd Stadium sure could use an Attman’s stand at the game.
