The Maryland field hockey team (11-1, 4-0 ACC), ranked No. 2 in the latest Kookaburra / NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll, beat No. 14 Duke (6-7, 0-4 ACC) 3-1 Saturday afternoon at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex in College Park. Senior Katie O’Donnell and freshmen Ali McEvoy and Jill Witmer each scored in the win.

This was a clear one sided game –close only because Duke’s goalie was spot on. Jemma Buckley the Junior Aussie transfer stood out with her doninance of the ball in the midfield area.
