Terps Attempt to Rebound With Victory over Wake Today at Comcast

Never take anything for granted in the ACC. Maryland’s first game at Wake saw Cliff Tucker explode for 21. The Terps won easy but I only hope the disappointment over the Duke loss doesn’t hang on the minds of Maryland. A quick look at Wake

:Forward Travis McKie leads the team in scoring with 12.6 points a game, second among freshmen in the ACC… McKie also leads the Demon Deacons on the boards, averaging 7.5 rebounds per game which is best in the ACC for a freshman…The Demon Deacons are tied for first in the ACC with six blocked shots per game and 132 overall… Ty Walker leads the team with three per game and is second in the ACC…Wake Forest is second in the ACC in free throw percentage (.745) but has struggled on defense and taking care of the ball… They are last in the ACC in rebounding margin (minus-3.9 pg) as well as turnover margin (minus-3.7 pg). They also give up a league high 76.3 points per game…Five Demon Deacons are scoring in double figures this season – in addition to McKie, forward Ari Stewart and guards J.T. Terrell, Gary Clark and C.J. Harris are scoring more than 10 ppg. from umterps.com

That being said, Wake has no answer for Jordan and the Terps know their backs are against the wall  Terps 70 Wake 62
