Wow, ESPN 3 for whatever reason would not come into on my computer in Comcast, so I had to suffer through an in game blog from inside lacrosse to get the score, while being tortured watching the Terps lose to UVA. I just finished watching the replay and am now even more upset. Duke tied the score after Landon Carr cleanly stripped a Dookie of the ball with 31 seconds lefyyet was called for holding. Holding—wow.2 times in the final 2 minutes Maryland had the lead and took shots that missed and resulted with Duke getting the ball back. I just never understand the purpose of scoring in that situation. Goalie Niko Amato was amazing stopping 19 shots but Wolf squeezed on through to win the game for the 1-2 Blue Devils. The middies for the Terps were responsible for almost all of the goals today , led by John Haus with 3 and Joe Cummings with 2. The Terps were down 7-4 as late as 12 minutes left in the game but rallied to take the lead. SICKENING DEFEAT!!!!
Message to ESPN 3, if you hate Maryland so much save televising these games with Terrapin haters like Matt Ward doing the color. It was sickening to listen to him.
