ESPN’s Andy Katz Weighs In On Mark Turgeon

Mark Turgeon, Texas A&M: Turgeon played at Kansas. He fully understands what it’s like to be at a basketball-crazed school. He coached at one in Wichita State. He would enjoy being at a basketball-first school like Maryland. He has done a wonderful job keeping the Aggies relevant in the Big 12 and A&M will again be in the mix in the conference title race next season. But would Turgeon be the choice for Anderson? That’s still an unknown. As one source said, Turgeon may not be the news conference name that Tubby Smith would be on day one, but two years into his tenure at Maryland they would know they had an elite coach and a winner.  from ESPN.com

This is a huge wake up call to a lot of people. This program is in the dumper.
What does it say, when you get to like your 6th choice?

1st. Anderson, Faust, and Gibbs are as sure as GONE.

Thanks a bunch Gary. Couldn’t just wait til Anderson at least Signed his LOI?

sigh. It’s gonna be a long, long decade coming up. Just 10 years ago, we were at the height of a resurgence. Orange Bowl. Super Bowl. The O’s had signed Bell. NCAA final 4s.
Now. 10 years later, here we are.

The O’s are still the worst ran team in MLB. The Terps are down in both main sports.
    ugh.

How can you get turned down from BUTLER and ND? lol. What a joke.
