Yes it was a disaster.

We were out manned, outplayed, out physicaled and out coached……… but it was only the 3rd game in a new regime.  These are not Edsall recruited players.

Edsall is still the best thing to have happened to our football program. Talk to me in 5 years—hopefully.

   all i know is in 3 of the last 4 halves of football md has played as badly as any team in the country. they were completely listless the first half of the w.va game and the entire game yesterday. bruce you seem to put all the blame on the players. that’s nonsense. when a team comes out and plays as badly as md has it’s more than just the players. it coaching as well. and the coaching has been awful. the team was lucky to beat miami who were without their best 3 defensive lineman, their best linebacker, their best defensive back and their starting qb. md’s defense has been awful for all 3 games this year. one thing we know is certain….the honeymoon is over for coach edsall. the fans are getting restless already. maybe they were looking ahead to the towson game figuring temple would be a walkover but temple walked over maryland. every fan who went to the game yesterday should get their money back.

   No excuses for team not doing the homework and coaches not motivating. D is very undersized and getting mauled. Talent is lacking for sure overall. But no excuse for Edsell. He has to prove he can motivate and recruit . The fancy marketing and dumb looking unforms cannot mask the stench from the football program at College Park
