Maryland junior offensive tackle R.J. Dill has been granted his release in order to transfer to another institution.
“We wish R.J. well in his future athletic and academic pursuits,” head coach Randy Edsall said Tuesday evening. “We appreciate the commitment and effort R.J. has given to the Maryland football program.”
Dill played in 37 career games, including 33 starts (23 at right tackle; 10 at left tackle). The native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., has one year of eligibility remaining and is expected to graduate in December.
