The Terps start the 2nd half with the lineup I expect might be their usual—Stogs, PeShon, Padgett, Faust and Mosley.
Watching Turgeon as Radford stays in the hunt, he is cool, obviously upset but holding it back. Terrell seems to be taking over some of the ball control in the half court. The threes have stopped falling for Radford but the score is still even at the first break. I have a bit of an empty feeling in the stomach.
PeShon has stepped up to guard the hot hand from Radford–RJ Price who had 16 in the 1st half. It’s bombs away for Stogs as he splits a couple of threes. 12 minutes to go —45-45. The Terps are just making every game a tough one. No exception tonight. PeShon looks like he just caught an elbow to the nose. He went down like Frazier!!! The refs looked at a replay — must have been accidental.
PeShon is eating up minutes and when Len enters next game there will be more division of time.
Turgeon will soon have to deal with this. PeShon’s strong defensive play on RJ Smith has helped turn the tide. Nick though having trouble shooting has been extremely effective driving the bucket. Terps up by 6 with 8 minutes left.
Radford has only scored 7 points in the first 13 minutes of the 2nd half. Now it is 9 after 15 minutes. Strange game. Dino Gregory and Cliff Tucker are in the house tonight. Pankey continues his strong play –17 points as Terps are up by 7 after Stogs hits his going right shooting left jump shot.
Highlight of the night—Barry Gossett has been leaning on the refs all night. He is relentless!!!!
Radford stays in the game down by 4 with 2:24 left–Terps ball
Big bucket by Stogs— a 3 point dagger by RJ Price closes the gap to 61-58 Terps with 1:21 left.
PeShon misses a 1and 1 but Smith misses a 3—-Stogs on the line for 2—makes both— 32 sec left—Live by the 3 die by the 3 –Smith misses again—Pankey fouls out—Terps hold on to 65-60 win.

i say when len comes back he will be starting by his 3rd game and playing at least 25 min a game at that point.
