A super night in Towson last night as Coach Edsall and his 3 assistants spoke with the gathered audience for almost 2 hours. Coach Locksley spoke of his immediate admiration he gained for the message of Randy Edsall. Some of the other topic of discussion were the positioning of Kenny Tate as the SAM linebacker, Coach Locksley willingness to incorporate some of the prized freshmen talent immediately into the lineup, CJ Brown’s emerging role as leader on the team, and Coach Edsall’s desire to watch his captains take a stronger leadership control of the team. Much more about the event will be discussed Thursday night on Terp Talk.

the freshman have to play. there is a tremendous lack of good experienced talent on this team. most “experts” have this team winning only 3-4 games this year. the o line must play consistently well and c j has to show he can pass effectively. i would think locksley would prefer an offensive where they run the ball a great deal. defensively if they can make 5 or 6 tackles a game they would be way ahead of last year’s defense which used the olay tackle technique far too many times. fans need to be patient. it’s going to take a couple of years to build up some quality and depth for the terps to be competitive. if you’re one of the many who are not big fans of edsall you need to give him the time to build up the program stop with the fire edsall after every loss even if they win 3 or 4 or 5 games this year. give peace a chance and give edsall a chance
