On protecting quarterback Perry Hills:
“We are going to have to take a look at the things we saw today and figure out how we can help him. It might be about protections. We will evaluate our personnel but I don’t see anything from a personnel standpoint that we would do. We have to keep coaching him up. He is going to be a good player. We have to get him get the ball out of his hand a little quicker and make sure he is making the correct reads. It is something that us as coaches have to do a better job, and everyone on offense has to do a better job.”

On the play of quarterback Perry Hills:
“I love Perry Hills and I just told that to him. He is in a tough situation and he is hurting. He was hard on himself today because he didn’t think he played as well as he could have. We have tremendous confidence in him and he will get better, just like all of us.”

Perry is 18, on campus since August 4, started 3 Division 1 Games, Was ACC Rookie of the Week—Give him a chance!!!

We are going to have to take a look at the things we saw today and figure out how we can help him. It might be about protections. must be a quote from the same guy who said i didn’t call a timeout because we haven’t been practicing the 2 min drill very well in practice.

ya think. there was probably 4 or 5 times he got hit by defensive player who went untouched by the o line.

what a genius. and all for just 2 million a year

    from the wash post.

A third-and-10 completion to Stefon Diggs, who bounced around tacklers and stretched his way to the first-down marker, brought Maryland to the Connecticut 32-yard line. Freshman Brad Craddock’s longest field goal this season, one of two he’s hit, was a 45-yarder against Temple. Had the Terps held position, Craddock could have lined up to tie the game.

Instead, Hills took a four-yard loss on first down. Nineteen seconds burned off the clock as the Terps lined up for their next play. The crowd seemed exasperated, even more so when Hills checked to the sidelines with the play clock winding down for a potential audible, something he normally does every play in Maryland’s new pro-style offense. “I never did think about taking a timeout there,” Edsall said. The Terps had two remaining.
