Terps Defeat Morehead State 67-45 to Even It’s Record at 1-1

Some final abbreviated observations as I am blogging from my cell phone due to the loss of electric:

Turgeon was extremely happy post game as he said he highly respected the opponent

Shaq clearly arrived last night finishing with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 gargantuan blocks

Len again was dominant with 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and several altered shots. An Nba scout was sitting directly behind me focused on Alex

Nick Faust led all Terps with a dozen points

Turgeon was more then pleased with the team defense but extremely upset with the team’s 20 turnovers

The attendance was announced at 8734 and the Coach called out for more support from the student body

I can see that Turgeon is going to really have to message everyone’s minutes as he tries to play a 10 man rotation. Everyone played about 20 minutes but this was easy to accomplish with a 20 point lead.

The Terps wound up shooting 50% from the field but 4-12 from the 3 point line

PeShon failed to score but still chipped in with 7 assists

So the Terps took care of business and now move on to LIU-Brooklyn Friday night

shaq needs to learn to block shots to his teammates. swatting balls into the stands just gives the ball back to the other team.

Agreed, but he has this year as the backup center to learn. Just amazing that with his size he has such a vertical leap.
He will be the man next year as apparently Len heads to the NBA lottery. Right now Len is projected top ten and rising…
Propose starting lineup with Len, Mitchell, Layman, Wells and Allen would be very difficult for any top ten teams this year…just saying.
With Shaq, Padgett, Faust, Peshon and the transfers off the bench…team is Duke like…
