Some commenta after a tough Maryland loss, closing the season at 4-8.:
There was never an ounce of quit in this team all year. Ww all need to give some props to Sean Petty,#31 who was stepped up when the Terps were desperate for a QB. Saturday he was 16 for 35 , for 204 yards.
Just another game for Stefon Diggs, 248 all purpose yards, a TD pass, a kickoff returned for a TD, 8 catches for 80 yards. If he doesn’t win Freshman of the Year, Maryland should look for an even quicker exit from the All Carolina Conference. Speaking of which, did you ever for a second think the refs would overturn either call in the 3rd quarter?
The league is infuriated with Maryland but truthfully who really cares. The Terps will get 0 calls as we wind down our ACC play. I listened to the Carolina play by play for a few minutes and never was any word of praise given to the Terps.
Brandon Ross had a super game and the Terps set at tailback next year with Wes Brown and Brandon.

That 3td sequence was incredible.
Just one amazing season in so many ways, and yes one we should be proud of and look forward to next year with optimism.
Lets put the Edsall criticism in a heavy bag and dump it in the harbor.
He has been exemplary this year, and this team played hard for him.

Bruce waiting for words of praise from the ACC shills, is like waiting for kudos from a firmer wife, forgedaboudit!
In fairness the network announcers on CSN were very complimentary to the Terps effort, which included the most amazing 3/4 minutes in Terp football history.
I hope the effort put put forth by this Terp team given the extraordinary circumstances, will once and for all extinguish the Edsall hate reactions, and allow this ever more optimistic program to thrive.
It all looks so promising now , and am excited for all sports in this area going forward like has not existed for what seems like forever.
