Diamond Stone
Diamond Stone, has emerged as one of the top players in the class of 2015. Stone is a dominant big man who brings a bit of everything to the table. He is as active as any center in the country, and still produces at a high level even when he is not getting direct touches on the offensive end. Stone’s 6-10 frame is strong and getting stronger, and there are very few players out there who can keep him off the boards.
Turgeon was very present during Stone’s games, as were many other high-major head coaches; a few of Stone’s games with Young Legends 16U were a who’s who of big-name coaches. However, as the amount of college coaches present thinned out over the weekend, Turgeon and his assistants were still very present with Stone. Turgeon made sure to be visible, sitting directly underneath the basket in the rising junior’s final game at the tournament.
