You need to see the movie Things Change with Don Ameche and Joseph Montegna. Early in the year I had enough of Davis’ strikeouts and just believed that maybe he was on the downhill spiral. But now I firmly believe that he is back and have been overwhelmed by the way he has put this team on his back. His walkoff HR Saturdauy night had the Oriole faithful believing again. I was wrong—DAVIS must be resigned. Yes it will break my heart to see Wieters with another team but Davis the guy.

Davis is night & day different from last season & the first half of this season. Could it be because he is a free agent at the end of the year?

I’ve been saying all along to the naysayers you don’t know what you’re talking about and clearly you didn’t. even hurt last yr, and being suspended davis hit 26 hrs. he’s hitting like he did in 2013 which is amazing because he hit 53 hrs. his on base percentage is very good, his defense is great and most, john and brain, most of his hr’s are meaningful. no this explosion has nothing to do with becoming a free agent. he hit 33 3 yrs ago and he wasn’t up for the big money, hit 53 in 2013 under contract. no boys, the guy is a real power hitter who right now is hitting better than anyone in baseball

I’ve been a buyer on Chris Davis all along as well. We can’t let our own free agents walk only to replace them with journeymen and expect to compete in the AL east. Bring Davis back, bring Chen back, bring Wieters back and go out and get some help for them as well.
