    Mr. Viener,

I am proud of the terps, the offence played well and the defense played well too, but the DB’s need alot of work on the passing game.

how do you do a post game show without mentioning 5 turnovers by md. 3 interceptions and 2 fumbles all by hills.

at times hills played as well as any md qb in the last 15 years. some really nice passes, some hard productive runs, good play action. hills probably played his best game at md and yet he had 5 turnovers. this might give you an indication of how much better a team can be with good qb who plays with some consistency. no one with any intelligence can say a guy played great when he committed 5 turnovers. how about a little honesty guys. one time.

the rush defense was excellent. the secondary was horrible.

the team played with emotion…they hustled, they played physical and they were engaged the entire game. something we haven’t seen in the last 4 plus yrs. the coaching at times was very good and at times not so good. the key was the kids went out and played hard which shows you what can happen when the players respect and like the coach.

it was a very entertaining, exciting, sloppy game.

with a good coach and some better talent, most importantly a quality qb, maryland will be fine in a lot less time than some might think.
