Game 1 of World Series Goes to KC 5-4 Over the Mets

Eric Hosmer’s sacrifice fly in the 14th inning scored Alcides Escobar with the game-winner, and the Kansas City Royals rallied to beat the New York Mets 5-4 in Game 1 of the World Series. Alex Gordon’s ninth inning homer off Jeurys Familia tied it for the Royals, who will send Johnny Cueto to the mound looking to take a 2-0 Series lead Wednesday. Once again there’s a reason KC is known as Comeback City. The game ended at 1:25AM
