If it wasn’t for bad luck the Ravens would have no luck at all.
Lucky for the NFL the game was in Miami, because after the call against Dan Brown for interference chaos might existed at M&T. As soon as the TD was called back, I knew the Ravens were doomed. Then when the spot on 4th and inches was botched by the ref, hope went out the window.
Great game for Buck Allen and Terrance West.
The defense was stellar minus the TD pass by Tannenhill. Donald Saiontz had compained about the lack of size in the Ravens secondary and sure enough, the Ravens were out-leaped for the TD pass.
Now Justin Tucker. He is slumping from 50 plus. The 55 yard FG try seems absurd but this is Justin Tucker we are talking about. Post game he said he hit the ball on the screws but just didn’t understand the fade on the ball. Something is wrong, Once is understandable, twice is believable but 4 times is unacceptable. Something is wrong. This is Justin Tucker.
I really felt bad for Matt Schaub. But 2 trademark pick sixes from him will probably call for an end to his tenure in Bmore in 4 games. Then again, Matt passes his threshold of 10% of the snaps and will receive his $1 million bonus. I take back the sympathy feeling.
Now for the positives. The fact that 10,000 Ravens fans trekked to Miami to watch a battle of 4-7 teams tells me how much Bmore loves this team. Harbaugh has done wonders with this collection of castoffs, rookies, and bargain free agents. No quit in this team whatsoever. A pass is given to the Ravens. Truthfully I love this team even more.
Bring on Richard Sherman.
