Observations of a big Maryland win
The bigs dominated for the Terps 45-24 in rebounds
Diamond Stone had a great forst half offensively and finished with 16 points and 9 rebounds
Melo was simply Melo scoring 25 and dominating the game down the stretch
In only 22 minutes Robert Carter Jr had 8 points and 11 rebound. His graph is in a straight upward arrow as the season goes on
The Terps move to 8-1 and 2-1 in the 3 big Non Conference Games of the year
Bugaboo tonight—15 turnovers to only 9 assists
Big mistake by Huskie Coach Kevin Ollie who had a technical called on him at the height of UConn’s run
The Terrapin Women smashed Loyola 97-47 to remain unbeaten

md did not ease to victory. they stayed tough and held on aided greatly by kevin ollie’s terrible rash decision and technical foul.
terps first half was excellent. second the half the defesne got very soft. the bigs did a great job on the boards however tey still lack some edge to their game and toughness.
nice to see he confidence growing in stone.
another poor game against a good opponent by layman.
best play of the game…melo to carter to dodd for the dunk. that’s the kind of ball movement and passing that can take this team far.

The best statement of the game i have read goes to Freddy. “best play of the game…melo to carter to dodd for the dunk. that’s the kind of ball movement and passing that can take this team far”
