waiting for layman to explode is like waiting for the number 7 bus late at night back before you got your license. you can lean over and stretch your neck over the curb looking but it ain’t comin’. he’ll have his moments,,,maybe a game or 2 where he is really good…but game in game out he won’t play like you expect him too. very very inconsistent…very very overrated. not mentally or physically tough enough. at this point it’s hard to imagine things will change significantly with him. it’s his 4th yr and it’s not like this is the first time he’s getting minutes.
if melo continues to distribute the ball well his nba stock will rise. he has to be a point guard in the association and that means getting others involved. also his defense isn’t very good and that hurts him. but as a college olayer he’s terrific.
