looks like sat’s loss put the terps in a bad place. on the road in front of a small crowd md went through the motions most of the night and were defeated by the nittany lions.
in the sunpapers today they mentioned maybe the freshman are tired. possible. what about melo? is he tired too? the team has only played 24 games. they aren’t playing a game today and a game tomorrow. and they are 18 to 22. they shouldn’t be tired the first week of february. melo needs to realize that when he is off he needs to get others involved. last night. a lack of ball movement, poor spacing with resulted in a poor offense. you didn’t see the extra pass last night. sometimes you never saw a pass.
team was not ready to play last night. that’s on the coaching staff as well as the kids.
looks to me like 5 or 6 teams from the big ten going to the dance. weak conference this year. maybe 10 acc schools will go dancing.
time to regroup and bounce back against osu. i’m still very bullish on the terps and i think they will be fine.
