Jaylan Duncan Commits To Terps

A Post By Mason

Terp fans it’s finally happening, what we have been promised for so long, is finely here. The day that the top local talent of the area is coming to College Park to play football. The most recent 4-star commit is Jaylan Duncan, an Offensive Linemen from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. Duncan is the 9th commit of the 2018 class, and the 3rd four-star recruit to commit according to 24/7 sports.

What this means

The Terps add additional help to an already loaded O-line. In the 2016 class (last year’s freshman) Maryland added Terrance Davis and Richard Merritt to the line (both four star recruits). In the 2017 class (this year’s freshman), the Terps have added Marcus Minor OG and Jordan McNair OT both four stars.  This consistent recruiting across the O-line means that the Terps are building a Big Ten style offensive line, that will soon be able to play on the level of parental power Big Ten teams. The DMV2UMD movement is in full swing.
