The Fall Maryland sports season has begun. Here is a quick update on how every team is fairing so far in the new year.
Men’s soccer:
The Terps started off strong with a 4-2 victory over Santa Clara and a 2-0 victory of Hofstra their next game is going to be huge V UCLA
Women’s Soccer:
Maryland is off to a good start at 3-0-1, already matching last year’s win total. Next Game is August 31 V Richmond
Field Hockey:
The field hockey squad is 1-0 with a comeback win over St. Joseph 2-1. Next Game is Duke in Lancaster PA on September 1st
Volleyball:
Volleyball had seen a lot of early success at winning all 3 games at the Maryland invitation. Their next event is 3 Games at the Liberty invitation September 1-2
Fall sports that haven’t started yet-
Football First game-September 2 at Texas
Men’s Golf- The Invitational at The Ocean Course September 11-12
Women’s Golf-Ocean Course Invitational September 4-5
Women’s Cross Country-Mount St. Mary’s 5K duels September 1
Women’s Tennis-Bedford Cup Friday September 15-18
