Schnider Herard To Leave Maryland Basketball

Well, that lasted long. As first reported in a statement by the school, Schnider Herard will leave the Maryland basketball program to pursue professionalĀ opportunities. The former 47th recruit in the country came to Maryland after two years playing for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Hearad was expected to help lead the Terps bench as the backup center. This departure is very abrupt and leaves the fanbase with many questions about what happened and who will fill in as the bench five next season.
