An Incredible Day in Sports Despite NW 43 Terps 3

Yes I was depressed after anticipating Maryland’s 1st Big Ten game of the year and having to sit through last year’s 3-9 Wildcat team run roughshod over the Terps. Though it was good to have Big 10 football back, it was excruciating to have a promising opening drive about all to cheer for. Without dwelling on the result, I extracted these good points:

1–Taulia threw well on his short passes.

2– Peny Boone is a big powerful dude.

3-Lance put together a nice drive

4–The defense had a few 1st half stops

5- Unlike Ryan Day (I’ll get to that later) Pat Fitzgerald pulled the plug on Ramsey in the 4th quarter and sort of did not pour it on.

6–Lots to work on and I still look forward to Friday night aginst Minnesota

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE DAY

An absolutely incredible World Series Game 4, as Tampa rallied again and again and pulled off an unbelievable victory in the bottom of the 9th. The unlikely hero–Brett Phillips on his 3rd at bat in the playoffs lined a ball in to right field and the “invincible” Dodgers played Keystone cops and gave away the game to even the series at 2. Former Terp, Brandon Lowe hit a 3 run homer, his 3rd of the series, to bring Tampa back from the dead.

Indiana upset Penn State for the first win over a Top Ten team in 3 decades. Watch the replay of the QB dive for the pylon on a 2 point play to win it. GREAT.

Ohio State’s Coach, continued the Buckeye tradition of humiliating its opponent by running it in for a TD when taking a knee would have ended the 45-17 game against Nebraska. By the way Nebraska’s Coach, Scott Frost is a “good friend” of Day. I hope I live to see Ohio State’s program collapse and receive payback. That goes for Urban as well.

Purdue beat and outplayed Iowa. Rutgers and Greg Schiano destroyed Michigan State.

Dabo took heat from the press because Clemson came out flat and only beat a miserable Cuse tean by 26, lol. Needless to say Dabo attacked the media.

Disappointed, no Ravens game on Sunday, but I can’t wait wait for next week to see Yannick in a Ravens uni.

It’s 2AM–Goodnight.
