Great Day For Terps—Upset #6 Wisconsin and Jared Bernhardt Announces Return to Maryland Lax for His Super Senior Year

Tremendous Coaching Win for Mark Turgeon who seems to have righted the ship after an 0-2 start in the Big Ten. The team played ferocious defense and found its offensive rhythm in the 2nd half to get it’s 1st Top Ten upset in 4 years. The top 8 in the rotation each contributed mightily in the victory with Eric Ayala leading the way with 17 points. I thought the play of Aaron Wiggins was exceptional tonight, finishing with 15 points and 9 rebounds. When Turge went to his small lineup with a zone thrown in. Wisconsin was befuddled and unable to utilize it’s size advantage. Next up–Michigan Thursday night at College Park.

Earlier in the day came the announcement that Jared Bernhardt had decided to return to the Maryland Lacrosse program to complete his Senior year. The 2 time All American is arguable the #1 rated attack man in college and will immediately make the Terps one of the favorites to win the title.

Yes it was a great day to be a TERP.
