The Maryland Terrapins failed to capitalize on the momentum they built earlier in the week against Rutgers, losing to the Indiana Hoosiers 68-55. While the Terps had defensive struggles all afternoon, their true issues came on the offensive end. Coming off of their first Big Ten win in Evanston, the Maryland Terrapins traveled back to College Park but weren’t able to bring the winning spirits with them as they fell to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 70-59. Walking into Yankee Stadium Wednesday afternoon, you could feel the excitement for the game to kickoff. Even prior to that point, fist bumping fellow Maryland fans and getting chirped at by Hokie fans got me amped up to watch the contest.
