nc-state-prediction.WMA A tremendous opportunity awaits Maryland tonight, as the suddenly confident Terps host a charging NC-State squad. The continued improved play of Greivis should lead the Terps to victory but the bench must contribute!!!!Watch out for JJ Hickson , Gavin Grant and Brandon Costner for the Pack tonight.Check out the audio for my prediction of the final score.
As predicted here on Terp Talk, the Terrapins won another squeaker on the road at Chesnut Hill defeating Boston College and thus avenging the home loss suffered earlier in the year. It is really a shame that the game was only on ESPNU and so many Marylanders missed watching a great Terp performance!!!! Greivis Vasquez was simply perfect–scoring 25 points and dishing out 8 assists in perhaps his finest effort as a Terp. Gary moved a step closer to the … Read More »

cavalier-prediction.WMA Sean Singletary and the Virginia cavaliers come into town tonight at 7PM at Comcast. The Terps who I believe have regained their offensive and team confidence will be ready tonight!!!A win for Marylnad would bring them to .500 in the ACC. Mileone Terp Talk tomorrow night at 8PM will feature an interview with legendary Volleyball coach Janice Kruger who announced her retirement from coaching on Tuesday, as well as audio interviews from the Duke and UVA games.
williams-after-duke-loss.WMA Despite their strongest offensive performance of the year, the Terrapins squandered a 9 point halftime lead and and fell to the #3 Blue Devils. Bambale Osby scored 20 and had 15 rebounds in perhaps the best effort of his collegiate career. Early in the game Maryland pounded the ball inside for repeated easy baskets by Gist and Osby. Again James Gist played like the senior leader he has become and led the Terps with 26 points. James drew … Read More »

closing-argument-1-17.WMA The Terps have a tremendous opportunity Saturday afternoon when they travel to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels. Carolina has struggled lately, barely beating Clemson and Georgia Tech. Remember the Terrapins have defeated more #1 teams then any schools except Carolina and UCLA. Maybe Gary’s boys will finally find their shooting touch. At tip off the score is 0-0 for all of you non-believers. Enough has been said about Jason Garrett. On Terp Talk Wednesday … Read More »

For about 25 minutes, we got the first glimpse of what the Terps are capable of offensively, as they exploded to a 20 point lead. James Gist perhaps had his finest game as a Terp, scoring 25 including key buckets down the stretch. Unfortunately many Terp fans were unable to watch the game due to the fact it was only on ESPNU. Since the American loss, the Terps have won 3 straight to move to 9-6 heading into … Read More »
