Randy Edsall, head coach of the University of Maryland football team, announced Thursday that Mike Locksleyhas been hired as the Terrapins’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Locksley, a native of Washington, DC, returns to Maryland after previously spending six years (1998-02) as an assistant coach on the Terrapins staff. During his first tenure, Locksley coached running backs and was the recruiting coordinator for five years.

According to terrapintimes.com this is a done deal. Locksley bring both a tremendous local recruiting accumen as well as someone who will most likely bring a pro style offense back to suit Danny O”Brien.
Maybe the landscape is changing with Locksley coming on board. Eddie is a 6’4 300 lb defensive tackle, from the Friendship Collegiate Academy in DC.
