It wasn’t easy but Maryland’s women’s lacrosse team finished their second season in the Big Ten as they finished their first – undefeated – as they came away with a 10-9 win over Penn State. The No. 5 Maryland men’s lacrosse team defeated Ohio State, 10-8, on Sunday night at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium to clinch at least a share of its second consecutive Big Ten regular season title.

 After being down 6-3 at halftime, the No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team (11-0) rallied to defeat Johns Hopkins, 10-8, Wednesday evening at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex.
 
“Hopkins came out and did a good job capitalizing on their opportunities in the first half,” head coach Cathy Reese said. “I think we were able to get some better looks in the second half and make some smarter choices to get the win.”

The Maryland men’s lacrosse team exploded for 10 first half goals and its defense clamped down in the second half as the Terps earned a decisive 13-8 victory at Franklin Field Tuesday evening.
