Since joining the Big Ten for the 2015 season, the Maryland Terrapins women’s lacrosse team has compiled a record of 20-1. The Terrapins are a perfect 16-0 in the regular season and improved to 5-1 in B1G Tournament play with a 14-6 thrashing of the Northwestern Wildcats in Sunday’s championship game at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex in College Park. The Maryland women’s lacrosse team secured its third straight outright Big Ten Championship on Thursday following an 18-9 win at Northwestern. The victory also secured the top seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament for the Terrapins.

The Maryland baseball team took both games of a doubleheader against Michigan State to secure a series sweep at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium Sunday afternoon.
The Terrapins (28-11, 12-3 Big Ten) have now won seven straight games overall and moved to 18-1 this season at home. Maryland has secured four home series sweeps this season.
