Third Baseman Josh Bell has come up from Norfolk to join the Orioles today. Josh was the prime target of the George Sherrill trade I have talked so much about. I will give him til Sept 1 before I pass any judgement. Believe I am rooting for him to do well!!!
terrapintimes.com reports today that Andrew Zeller a 6’5 280 OL from Red Lion, Pa. anxiously joined the 2011 Terrapin fold this afternoon. He is a 3 star and was recruited by Kevin Lempa.

The composition of the NBA is about to change. Avery Johnson is Coach of the Nets. Byron Scott is taking over Cleveland.

Apparently it’s down to the final part of the selection process. The AD wants Dave to be the new coach, but there a few other nominees. Dave — if you are reading this blog as I know you sometimes do—take the job!!!!!!!! It’s never easy to uproot the family but it would be a tremendous ooportunity!!
Sandwiched around an amateurish defensive effort from the Orioles, were 5 homers from Wiggy, Adam Jones, Patterson, Tejada, and Luke Scott which led to an Orioles victory . The bullpen again was stellar which beckons the thought–don’t inject Gonzo into this bullpen. 21000 were in attendance for Matt Wieters bobblehead night.
Last night in the Big Apple Seattle Mariner Ace Cliff Lee was on display for Brian Cashman and the Yankees. The Mariners are out of the race and Cliff will be dealt. As usual the Yankees will beef up for the title run. Someone explain how can the Orioles ever compete in this division.
