TT.com reports that Freshman James Padgett has been doing very well in the pickup games at College Park. I first saw James at the Under armour Game at Towson and he thoroughly dominated the game. He could be the rebounding , physical force the Terps have not had for years.

Monday night it took an ex-Oriole to ruin a perfect game for Andy Petite. Last night the Yanks had their version of Home Run Derby at Camden Yards. Chris Ray was just——–forget about it. 14-31 since the All Star  Game. Camden Yards seemed like it was in the Bronx the past 2 nights.

For years the Ravens offense consisted of field position and using #3 Matt Stover to nail any field goal inside 40 yards. Touchdowns have been brutal to come by. The No. 1-ranked Maryland field hockey team won the 2009 Wildcat Classic Monday afternoon, after a 7-2 win over tournament host Northwestern. The Terps moved to 3-0 on the year.
