Senior Patrick Mullins scored two goals from the penalty spot as the No. 17 Maryland men’s soccer team defeated No. 13 Clemson at Historic Riggs Field Saturday night.

The Terrapins (2-2-2, 2-0-1 ACC) broke down a stingy Tiger (6-1-0, 2-1-0) defense that had only allowed one goal all season. Sophomore Schillo Tshuma added the Terps other tally.

I guess it was ridiculous to think the O’s could weep the Red Sox so at this point let’s be happy with a series win. Adam Jones broke up a No hitter in the  7th with a HR. 

The Orioles have 4 games starting Friday with Tampa.  Right now perhaps the team in best shape is Cleveland. Because of the unbalanced schedule Cleveland closes the season with 3 games against Houston, 3 with Chicago, and 3 with Minnesota.
