Maryland will unleash its fury on WVU’s Freshman QB Ford Childress (#7, FR, 6’5″-234). Like Maryland’s freshman QBs last year , Childress has much to learn. The history of Maryland playing in Baltimore is a winning one. Much more later in the week.
Bottom line –Just Win Baby”
The browns virtually shut down the Ravens offense in the 1st half and took a 6 zip lead into the locker room at half. The irony of they is that the guy who won’t go away, Billy Cundiff was 2-2 from FG range and his replacement Justin Tucker missed his 2 FGs. Obviously it was a long weekend for the Longhorns.
As Donald Saiontz predicted on “In the Nest” Sunday morning, Tandos Doss played a … Read More »

My heart goes out to Dex. He certainly was a having a career game with 2 ints including a 40 yard TD. I have several chances to interview Dex over his years at Maryland and he is one fine young man. No. 2 Maryland field hockey shut down Miami (Ohio), 6-0, Sunday in the final game of the Terrapin Invitational in College Park. The Terps put their offensive firepower and depth to use, as six players scored in the win, and their defense put together its second shutout of the year.
As dominant as the offense was, Maryland’s defense held Miami (Ohio) without a shot until the final two minutes of the first half and without a corner until the 55th minute.
The Ravens expressed optimism about Ray Rice‘s status after the starting running back left the fourth quarter of Baltimore’s 14-6 win Sunday with a hip flexor strain.
Rice went down without getting hit with 11:57 left in the game and didn’t return. He isn’t scheduled for an MRI and he didn’t walk with a limp after the win over the Cleveland Browns.
“He might’ve gone down to protect himself, too,” coach John Harbaugh said. “That’s just something that we’ll have to … Read More »
Tune in as Donald Saiontz, Dennis Koulatsos, and myself preview today’s game with Cleveland and all the games in the NFL.
Supposedly the Browns have better talent this year. Supposedly Brandon Weeden has better coaching so he’ll be improved. Supposedly Trent Richardson is ready to achieve superstar status. Right now, however, the Browns remain … well the Browns and that is dreadful. The Ravens have owned the Browns beating them 10 times in a row, covering 70 percent of the games. Only three of the last 10 have been decided by a touchdown or less. The defending Super Bowl champions have … Read More »
