VCU tallied three goals in the final 13 minutes of play to defeat the No. 13 Maryland men’s soccer team 3-2 Sunday night at Ludwig Field.
The Terps (1-2-1, 1-0 ACC) picked up scoring from senior Jake Pace and freshman Chris Odoi-Atsem. Maryland controlled the match for nearly 78 minutes before surrendering a penalty kick score at 77:08 and then back-to-back breakaways within an eight-minute period to cap the contest.

Incredible game. The O’s left 12 men on base, countless men on 3rd with less then 2 out, only to have Matt Wieters deliver a 2 out winning hit in the 10th.
The big story is that the O’s trail Tampa by just 1 game.
