Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall announced Monday that Andre Powell has joined the staff as running backs coach. Powell spent the last four seasons at Clemson where he coached running backs and coordinated the special teams his final three years. He tutored All-Atlantic Coast Conference running backs James Davis and C.J. Spiller, two of the top three rushers in Clemson history. Spiller finished his career No. 2 in NCAA FBS history in all-purpose running.
