Some observations of an incredible but losing effort from the Caps:

Goalie Braden Holtby was off the charts spectacular. Though I heard the post game guys on the radio saying that overall the Caps had more chances, it just seemed to me that the Rangers were just able to fire away especially in OT.

I guess I picked the right game to go to!!! Nicholas Backstrom scored the equalizer and winning goals , but it was the furious play of Brooks Laich (3 assists) and Joel ward that triggered the comeback. Maybe it was just a funk that all of the Capital superstars were in, maybe from the 2 losses on the road.
