Things change. What seemed like an inevitable exit from the Ravens for Cam Cameron now appears to be not likely to happen. I guess the sudden hiring of Chuck Pagano by INdy may have made the Ravens decide that changing cam would be too much. Supposedly there will be a QB coach hired to enter Joe.

I was listening to “Cover 2” with RobLong on 105.7 and Rob pressed his guest LaDarius Webb about potential friction due to the pathetic offensive play of the team. Webb deended Cam, Joe and everyone on the offensive side of the ball. He said the Ravens are still one big happy family. Good to hear after Terrell Suggs post game comments last night.

I can’t believe Coach Harbaugh is defending his decision to onside kick. He talked about trying to … Read More »

With the firing of jim Zorn the QB coach, it seems that Cam Cameron’s role will expand. Jeff Fisher will be gobbled up quickly.

Today was the final straw as we watched the Jets play a much more disciplined style then the Ravens, resulting in a decisive win over heavily favored New England. Yes the AFC  Championship would have been in Baltimore, an event that has evaded the Ravens franchise. Baltimore is heartbroken, again.

#1 Cam is definitely on the hot seat.  The offense needs that next step, one that doesn’t include checkoffs on EVERY 3rd down play. Ray Rice doesn’t have to … Read More »

It’s pretty bad when everyone knows what the play is but here is what Cam had to say:”You’re looking at the guy responsible,” Cameron said. “There was a flaw in that protection. We don’t have a protection where [No.] 43 [Polamalu] comes unblocked. We don’t have a run play where 43 comes unblocked in that game. There are some cases where guys can be unblocked — [but] not him.

“There was a flaw there that I did not catch for … Read More »

I asked Gary in the post game press conference was it a better offensive or defensive performance. His response was aggressive d usually leads to aggresive offense. This was a very strong  home game against a quality opponent.  The Terrapins dominated from wire to wire. Just about every scrum went their way but what stands out in this game was the … Read More »

Last year every Ravens fan marveled at the innovative plays and sets from the Ravens. Finaaly after all of the Billick years, the team was interesting to watch on offense. Using a 3 back offense, finding ways to get Troy Smith involved, etc. And the this year after the Charger game —poof–it all vanished into a Ray Rice dominated offense. Why? Cam Cameron has lost his genius moniker for the time being.

Ravens

It looks much like the prospects for an extremely powerful Ravens team this year are surfacing. You could also see this 3 years ago to a degree with McNair and Co. , culminating with the 13/3 record. . That season of course was marred by the overly conservative game plan of the Billick offense in the semifinal conference game against Indy.  You have to be impressed by what we see so far even though the preseason is a ridiculous joke … Read More »

Ravens

In the 13 year history of the Ravens, last year was to me the most enjoyable. Why? This team made an incredible run that was halted by a brain dead play by a now released special teams player. Starting with the improbable upset at Dallas, then crushing the Dolphins on the road and then upsetting Jeff Fischer and the Titans on the road, the Ravens played in total unison with each other and certainly elevated the status of Rookie Coach … Read More »
