Tillman was rocky early but settled down to get his 4th win. Chris Davis was -5 with 3 strikeouts and a grand slam. I can deal with the k’s. O’s go for the sweep Wednesday afternoon at 1PM.

Yesterday it was Matusz getting bashed –today it was Tillman’s turn. Are these guys ready for the big leagues? I am beginning to wonder.

Winning is always great!!! In the middle of the 5th , I hear Tillman has a N0-N0 going and that the O’s have gone deep 3 times against Mr Invincible Cliff Lee.  Unfortunately the no hitter ended with 1 out in the 7th on a cheap ground ball hit but Tillman threw a gem and the O’s won!

I would guess Hill is going to be waived and Berken probably should go back to Norfolk. Tillman takes one spot and Liz the other.  Liz has pitched well at Bowie and he does have some experience in the big leagues.  I’d rather have the O’s send Liz out for 2-3 starts and see how he does and let Arietta  and Patton continue starting at Norfolk.  Matusz could be the dark horse here.  He was impressive in spring training, has … Read More »
