Here is some info on Haukur Palsson, the incoming Maryland swingman from Montverde (Fla.) Academy who played in last night’s Capital Classic: Palsson had three points and four rebounds in the game and said he hopes to help Maryland on the boards next season. Of the three future Terps in the game, Palsson was the toughest to evaluate. High school all-star games are all about creating shots and passes.

It was an impressive scrimmage where the pace and quality of play was all out for 40 minutes. Some observations.

Sean Mosley’s floor game was sensational as he finished with 21 points and 10 assists. Sean had many fast break passes that were perfect and led to snowbird layups.

         Lance Stephenson, the #4 Shooting Guard in the Class of 2009 from Brooklyn NY’s Lincoln High made a surprise appearance at Comcast Center Saturday night and was serenated by chants of “We Want Lance” from the student body.  Lance is a teammate of Maryland 2009 recruit James Padgett.
