Because I was on the air at ESPN tonight , I missed the Maryland Basketball awards banquet. Testudo times reports of the sharing of the MVP award between Dave Neal and Greivis and they believe Greivis should have been the sole winner. There is no dispute that as Greivis went so did the Terps. Dave Neal provided an integral role in many of the victories but it was Greivis who was the straw that stirred the drink. The Wolfpack hung around tonight but Greivis Vasquez refused to let his team falter, scoring 33 points and running a near flawless court game while leading the Terps to a 71-60 road victory over NC State. Dave Neal reminded his team at halftime the urgent need for a road win in the ACC and finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
