Some observations of a great day at Scott Stadium :

Compact stadium ———-took 3 hours to get here

Again the d could not  stop Marc Verica early- 165 yards passing in first half

The Terps have solved the red zone problem today with the power running of DJ Adams. 3 TDs in the red zone.

The Terps have the ball at the 42 yard line of UVA with 12 minutes left. Guys- its judgement time.

Jeff Barker reported today in the Sun that Coach Friedgen might be forced into burning 2 more redshirts. Running Back DJ Adams will make the trip to NC State. Pete White, Offensive Lineman, might have to play because of the plethora of injuries. Ten redshirts have already been burned this season, the last of which was Eric Franklin.

DJ Adams (power runner) and Caleb Porzel (speed) are expected to burn their redshirts and debut for the Terps tonight at Wake. These 2 Freshmen will excite us for the next 4 years. I can’t wait to see Caleb turn the corner, although without Bruce Campbell in the lineup it might not happen until next week. Remember the game is on ESPN 360 at 6:30 PM.

It’s been discussed all week that freshmen Caleb Porzel and DJ ADams will probably play this weekend due to the Da’Rel Scott injury. Now terrapintimes.com reports that 2 freshmen offensive linemen,  Pete DeSouza and Nick Klemm imight have to burn the redshirts if any injuries occur to the line.

14 sacks was all Coach Friedgen could stomach last Saturday. Today the offensive line depth chart was virtually rewritten.More during the week as thngs develop. My guy to watch out for this season, Caleb Porzel sat out practice today. “They think his ACL is fine and he had a sprain of his MCL.
