Okay our great city and my great University have suffered some horrendous losses in my lifetime. But this one might have been the worst. There have been big losses–Super Bowl III to the Jets, 1969 World series Loss to the Mets, 2 7th game losses to the Pirates, the Final Four loss to Duke, the Orange Bowl defeat to Florida. There have been painful losses, the playoff loss to Green Bay on Chandlers failed kick ruled Good, Michigan State’s miracle … Read More »
Can you imagine Dallas cut Billy Cundiff. Tom Brady was selected for the first team as well. Playoff games were not included
It’s not like the Ravens didn’t have chance after chance to win this game. I for one still cannot understand why Ray Rice gets 28 runs, 8 receptions, and probably 3 more missed passes when the Offense has been so improved. By my count out 69 plays 39 had #27 written all over it. Now after a while doesn’t it become clear who you have to overplay. The offense though still too conservative for me, was somewhat effective in the … Read More »
Though everyone knows #20 wants to play–this is clearly the best decision for him.
#20 is a true warrior. he just can’t picture his troops on the battlefield without him. Again he is willing to risk his body to help the team. PAY HIM!!!
#20 has been a true warrior for the Baltimore Ravens . Watever decision he makes every Raven fan should stand behind him. In fact if his neck injuries are so bad that paralysis is a danger the I implore Ed Reed–Retire now!!! But somehow please stay with the team in a coaching role.
In sports a warrior is defined by the player who goes all out all the time, someone who lays his body on the line every game. a player who takes risks that usually pay off but sometimes leaves him alone on an island, a guy who has so many injuries but won’t leave the field, a guy who nobody could blame if he retired today, a guy who is going to give it a go on Sunday because his team … Read More »
The headline puts a sick feeling in my stomach. Due to the groin injury, #20 will not play this Sunday. Hopefully Joe Flacco recovers from his mid season slump. There are no more tomorrows with another loss.
Big Ben looked like he wasn’t sure what planet he was on Sunday after being kicked in the head. Yet the Steelers feel he is ready for the Ravens on Sunday. What if #52 or #20 put an excruciating hit on him . It’s unbelievable that on Tuesday the Steelers would announce #7 is ready to play. How about testing him every day right up until game time.Ridiculous!!
Everyone knows I take Terp losses real hard, so I was not in the best of moods Sunday as I drove to the stadium to watch what i thought would be a Ravens uninspired loss. This is the lesson I learned: I will never pay attention to preseason games again. #20 #22 #21 and unfortunately #86 all played (Reed, Rolle, McCallister and Heap) and the Ravens behind brilliant play stratgy from OC Cam Cameron dominated Cinci. Flacco displayed tremendous poise … Read More »
