Shortly after Ralph was hired there was the annual Terrapin club event at Artie Donovan’s Country Club in Baltimore. I had a chance to sit down with Ralph with 6 or 7 Terrapin members. Even though the Terrapins are such heavy underdogs, I still expect a close game today. The place will be rocking as it will be the first Sellout of the year. The turnovers must be kept to maximum 1 and penalties to 3 or 4. If the Terps stumble in these areas, it might get unpleasant. One day Maryland will get to run up the score on Frank Beamer and that day will be named Payback Day.
The Ole Ball Coach (Steve Spurrier ) took his Gamecocks into NC State and sqeaked by witha 7-3 victory. The ACC needs to win a few of these big intraconference games. So yes, I will root for the Hokies to upend Bama on Saturday! Of course a Terrapin win over BCS contender Cal would cap that day off.
