I was listening to Redskin great John Riggins after the Ravens Steelers game and his comment was that Ngata absolutely shuts down an attack up the middle against the Ravens. This was a must signing in an otherwise bleary week for the purple.

Some observations of not realizing the strengths of this Ravens team:

That’s it –I am never watching another exhibition game again. The Ravens offense looked sickening in the 4 games. The Steelers had 0 turnovers in 4 fake games. Yesterday they had 7 and I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them.

Can you imagine Dallas cut Billy Cundiff. Tom Brady was selected for the first team as well. Playoff games were not included

It’s not like the Ravens didn’t have chance after chance to win this game. I for one still cannot understand why Ray Rice gets 28 runs, 8 receptions, and probably 3 more missed passes when the Offense has been so improved. For 13 years or so, Matt Stover barely missed a big FG. His replacement has now missed 2 although to blame this game on him would be totally unfair.  The offense was pathetic for 3 quarters.#5 did not have one of his better days.

The game was so boring it was hard to watch.

I guarantee that the first time Todd heap catches a ball Sunday you will be able to hear–HEEEEEEEEEEEEP loud and clear on the tube. I guess the fans don’t appreciate Cincy being tied for first. Haloti Ngata seems doubtful for Sunday which would be a tremendous blow for the Ravens with the way Cedric Benson ran through the team in Baltimore.
