Home runs for Reynolds and JJ. 2 great additions. Vlady 10HR 44 RBI Batting Cleanup

Maybe JJ should be batting 3rd –with 11 HRs, he certainly has been more productive then Vlad. Vlad’s 6 HRs and 28 RBI isn’t going to last much longer.

JJ Hardy has certainly been the best Oriole pickup this year. Batting leadoff in place of the ever injured BRob, Hardy went deep on the 2nd pitch of the bottom of the first. Luke and Adam Jones added homers later.

Chris Jakubaukas pitched 5 scoreless innnings in his first start for the O’s.

Arrieta is now 5-1 and the O’s are 19-20—Wow

JJ went 4-5 including a solo homer. Gonzo blew a lead, Gregg blew a save, and it took a 2 run bottom of the 13th for the O’s to win. Matt Weiders delivered the telling shot.

Does Buck have enough pieces of the puzzle to contend. Not Yet. Mark Reynolds and JJ are calculated upgrades.
