16000 watched the Orioles tough one out Tuesday, as Luke went yard twice and Wiggy and Adam Jones also went deep.
The Orioles rise to 30-63 on the year.
Since the day George was traded the bullpen has been in shambles. Jim Johnson possibly overthrew himself into major elbow problems. Gonzo ruined the early part of the season and set the tone for this team the rest of the year. Simon is not the answer. Uehara is not the answer. At this point I am not sure Sherrill … Read More »
Koji did pitch well last night. But 76 pitches and he’s done. It’s not that I think Koji isn’t a good pitcher, it’s that he shouldn’t be in the starting rotation. Tickets still remain but not for long!!
It will not take long for Koji to become a folk hero in Baltimore if he continues to pitch like he did last night. The O’s coasted to a 7-5 victory behind the clutch hitting of Nick Markakis. George Sherrill was forced to enter the game in the 9th to retire Matsui and preserve the victory.
